·         Montessori teacher responsible for directing children’s activities physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually in a Montessori prepared environment.

·         Responsible for the safety and physical well being of the children at all times.

·         Prepare and supervise children in the execution of fire drills.

·         Protect the privacy of the children at all times.

·         Maintain current, accurate student academic records.

·         Maintain current attendance records.

·         Planning and development of the curriculum throughout the year.

·         Responsible for the Montessori Elementary Prepared Environment.

·         Responsible for the care of classroom materials and supplies.

·         Development and implementation of materials in the classroom

·         Maintain inventory of the classroom.

·         Submit academic records and other reports as requested by the school Administrator.

·         Supervise the Assistant and others who work with the children in the classroom.

·         Set up Assistant Daily Duty Form at the start of each year.

·         Conduct two class visitations nights for parents each year.

·         Hold two formal conferences yearly with parents.
